Industry 4.0 is not about a single technology that develops the industry, it is about implementing many different technologies, innovations and organizational changes in parallel, such as increased digitization, smarter factories, data transfer between new and older systems, use of artificial intelligence (AI) or to develop cooperation between humans and robots. The long-term aim of Industry 4.0 is to increase sustainability, strengthen profitability and continue to be competitive in industry.
A functioning quality management system gives you the conditions to streamline operations and strengthen the processes (activity flows) in the organization. Savings can be found in the production/execution of the service, but also in your other processes related to employees, suppliers and customers. Quality defect costs can amount to as much as 10-30 percent of total turnover. Often this figure is higher for service companies than for manufacturing companies. A management system based on ISO 9001 is a good investment, but to ensure maximum effect, good adaptation to your organization is required.
Quality Core Tools are a group of problem-solving skills that Automotive industry and AIAG needs to evaluate and improve your Quality Management System (QMS). There are many statistical tools used to solve problems, but AIAG has determined that the five tools are a key requirement for evaluating your QMS. Of the five core tools used in the automotive industry, three of these are included in the STQ software, they are Failute Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA). What is missing are the Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
STQ It’s a software that delivers relevant information to the right user at the right time, in this way we quality-assure your processes from drawing to finished product. With our unique software, you can ensure the quality of your entire manufacturing process and at the same time streamline the flow. We customize the software according to your needs and wishes for functionality. In the software, it is possible to verify each tool with the product’s characteristics and provides suggestions for a risk-based measurement frequency. It is possible to record measurements, keep statistics of the tools and of other disturbances in the process.
The service is cloud-based and will be available in both Swedish and English.
Risk analysis, for assessing product and process risks. Meets the requirements according to IATF 16949 and other industry standards.
All information needed in production and at the machines is available to the operator.
All gauges collected in a database where you also manage and document calibration.
The control plan is generated from the FMEA and shows a compilation of all characteristics, choice of measurement method and control.
Statistics and follow-up tools. Process Control (SPC), Measurment System Analysis (MSA) and Capability.
All tools collected in a database where you can easily see numbers and information about each tool.
Information about all characteristics, tools and measuring equipment is compiled. Based on this, an instruction is generated
Changes of products and drawings or nonconformance management is included and sent to those concerned.
All machines collected in a database where you can see which tool is used in which machine per product.
Over the years, Sciotech have been employed as project managers for a number of different smart grid projects where the common denominator has been renewable energy and energy storage. In some cases, the results have been published in public reports.
